This guide offers a simple way to setup a hotspot service using professional equipment produced by ubiquiti network and a free radius authentication back-end provided by wirelessorbit.
What you need:
- Ubiquiti series M (Nanostation, Bullet, Rocket, Nanostation Loco)
- AirOS v5.1.2 with chillispot service by 3TSolutions
- A valid wirelessorbit account
CONFIGURATION SETUP
In the screenshot below, on the right side how to setup the hotspot service on ubiquiti device wich is based on chillispot NAS client and on the left side the wirelessorbit setup parameters.
Step 1
Radius NAS ID must be the Gateway Name on gateway configuration in wirelessorbit setup
Step 2
Radius shared secret and UAM secret on chillispot configuration must be the same of the secret key choosen for your wirelessorbit configuration.
Step 3
Put as captive portal link the Login portal URL proposed by wirelessorbit at the end of gateway configuration
